Thanks for the confirmation on that. :) ~ Lonnit

That's it of course. The track anchors it well. -tv

Maybe the thing is that the tracks at the bottom run parallel to the edge of the frame, anchoring the image. If I tilted to straighten the horizon, it would make the tracks unparallel causing discomfort for the viewer. ~ Lonnit

I think if the blimp were parallel with the horizon, the tilt might not work. But as is, that blimp seems to be struggling uphill. Nice touch. At first I didn't even notice the tilt maybe cause my monitor isn't straight. -tv

This image was surreal enough for me to not be bothered by the tilt. Besides, we're all supposed to be looking up at that blimp and not noticing my sloppy angle! LOL! To me, I thought this would have been a good Beetles album cover. I don't know what got into me with the sand that day, but I just loved pulling it to this unusual color. I haven't heard of flooding in Montauk, so I think I didn't do too much damage. ;) Thanks all for commenting. ~ Lonnit

Nice, it has a lomo sort of feel to it.
Love, that so much is going on in this shot, would look good in b&w too.

I love the color of the sand in this one...it contrasts nicely with the blimp. I agree with aam about the horizon I'm concerned the water might run down to Montauk.

Oh, and the horizon is tilted to the left :)

interesting sand color.
