I like the relaxed feel here. The shot reminds of the simple things in life that make a difference. I like the curve in the puzzle side and the noise goes well with the low light level.

Nice idea, but I find myself wandering around for a focal point here Paul. The grain does look good though :-)

I like the thought behind this one, but it comes across better in the thumbnail. At full size, the lack of DOF becomes a distraction. What struck me in the thumbnail was the repetitive pattern in the background then similarly repeated in the jigsaw pieces. Nice play on words as well with "idle" reflected in the static appearance of the unplayed pieces. -tv

Good idea, but as said by others it needs a focal point to add interest.

I like it Paul! I see exactly what you were going for (I think)! The bottom of the pic is heavy and the light in the top half provides needed balance. I really like the light play on the puzzle and the grain is just right! Well done!

I agree. It's a pleasing image, but the eye tends to run around the edge of the puzzle. Perhaps a hand with a piece of the puzzle would give it the needed snap. The grain works well within the context of the narrow range of colors, though. -- Bruce
