Thanks for the feedback everyone. I originally tinted the Radio City just to highlight the location, but it was still rather drab so I colored the taxis as well. I was really just playing around with a pic that was headed for the discard pile when I stumbled on something I liked.
I didn't think I would like this topic, but the B&W grain transforms this modern 6th Ave shot from something ordinary into a nostalgic imitation of the past. I don't know how you do the tinting, and I wonder if it would be more effective without any, although it does seem to give it a spark of life since it is so subdued. -tv
