Yeah, the mystery man is hiding out from Diana who graduates tomorrow.. all day. But she's out for a while tonight. Also don't like sigs much.. still thinking about the belated encounter last challenge. I'm distracted. Thanks for the assist, Rod. -tv

Thanks Rod, that's who I thought. Knew I could depend on you for the answer (all well as some anti-Paul advise).

That was our Tommy posting anonymously so he doesn't get into trouble wiv his daughter who graduates to day:-) He said he really likes this shot better than the one Paul made you post. He also said not to listen to Pauls advice as he will only lead you down the gurgler:-)

Who was that last commenter & did they say they like it or not? Sorry, I got lost after "tight, composition".

I saw the other one first, which is good showing the street. But I like this one now for different reasons. It has a nice, tight composition with detail filling the frame with movement. The closer, framing also draws attention to a message missed in the other version - parking may be a problem for patrons of the advertized establishments. In complex images, I like elements that stabilize the composition by anchoring it to the frame. The tight composition provides several. Exposure is good too without obtrusive burnout.

This really shows how signs sure can be a blight on the surroundings but I agree a little more street scene would be nice. Good effort Tom! CJ

I'd like to see the signs and the others in the context of the street they're in rather than just the one shopfront especially as you're on the other side of the world to me and it's always interesting to see street life in other parts.

I appreciate this shot. Now I know who to call for all of my party solution needs when in Oakland. -COAmature

Thanks Rod,
Yeah I agree, the idea is there, but sure needs something to make it more interesting/appealing.

Good effort Tom, well done. I think you should challenge yourself & try for a more unusual angle for a better picy though mate:-)
