I'm amazed after looking at the shot in pending this one does work a lot better. You made the right decision Tommy.

Rod, I tried that (see crop in Pending), which made it more of a guessing game, but I didn't like it because it then looked more like a fence, which didn't accomplish my objective. The challenge for me was as you mentioned in the forum about making it flat. So, the primary transformation in pp was to skew the images to remove any receding lines hinting of depth. I wanted to show that removing that critical information and tightly cropping would bring out the abstract qualities of a recognizable object. This technique was applied by others as well, and as you saw, it works. -tv

I really like the tone of this, I was wondering if it might work better for abstract if you cropped in all around so we can't see the outside edges. Luv the look of this one.
