Thanks Tom and Mark :-)

Very cool, Brent! Looks like a wall sconce light and these are either the actual colors or you did a color shift. Either way, beautiful colors and an interesting abstract no doubt! Markjay

You and your camera manage difficult exposures very well. Some day I'd like to understand more about the color thing you said you did. The impossible combination of saturated oranges and blues from the same source are messing with my head. Beyond abstract to another dimension. -tv

Thanks for the suggestion Mikey; I fixed the crack in the wall. I just hope Robynne doesn't expect me to do the same with the real wall in the livingroom ;-)

It looks like a little "take me to your leader" guy, to me. I think if fits well and if it were me I'd be tickled to have it in my gallery of abstracts. Well seen and produced, Brent. One thing I would have done to the pic is to clone out the crack line running up to the top. OTW, perfect abstract. Cheers, -mikey

Thanks for your continued comments all :-) Although two of these lamps now sit above our fireplace, they were originally put in a downtown Seattle hotel in the 20's.

It's great! It looks third-dimensional, glowing so much it seems "hot." I love it! shu

Me too. I wouldn't touch the colors. The color contrast is what gives this photo its striking appearance.

I agree, very retro, works well

I think it's an interesting abstract and that's what we're after right? Leave it alone Brent, I like the color. -COAmature

Fondness makes the heart grow absence:-)

Thanks Oved and CJ. I guess I've grown fond of this slightly radioactive color scheme and think I will leave it as is for now.

This looks good to me Brent! Love the color combo, the shadows, and eerie glow! CJ

Looks plenty abstract to me, PP or not :-) \Oved

Oh yeah, the colors have been thoroughly messed with Rod. I thought abstract gave me free license to wreak havoc with the color, but I may switch things around or reshoot tomorrow :-)
Rod 26-May-2007 01:14
It looks abstract to me Brent but the colours seem to look too PS. Have you changed them much?
Guest 26-May-2007 00:47
I think the retro look & the great color combination make this plenty abstract.
