Thanks Tommy and you are correct, this was taken with a 3.2 MP Fuji. I haven't gotten around to doing a re-edit but will try and see if that helps. I don't know why but I like this shot, cows make me smile I guess! CJ
Is it possible that this was taken with a low resolution camera - say 2Mpixel? Licking on the "medium" button reduces the image to where the 'overprocessing' artifacts disappear. The result is a very pleasing image with none of the normal digital bugaboos - just bright and colorfully compressed distance that works very will with deep atmospheric perspective. -tv
Thanks Shu and Rod. I'll see if I can find the original and redo the PP. The vernal pools and spring flowers here were gorgeous. This lava cap, called "Table Mountain", is a 1000ft tall plateau rising out of the flat CA central valley. The mountains in the background are part of the Coast Range 50 miles away. CJ
It's a great scene but a bit over processed. (It's hard to tell, isn't it.) Love the vivid colors. shu

Wow how many layers here, this gives off heaps of distance information. The vivid front layers (a bit over processed I think) & the really subtle background layers. Wot a great job you did here Carole well done:-)
