So what is the interest here? A rather claustrophobic jungle shot that plays down the statue in the interest of environment, or a shot of a statue that is obscured by clutter? As a somewhat threatening, raw environment, I see what you mean about the leaf. The harsh lighting works in this sense as well. It has a rough documentary feel to it. Otherwise it would be just a picture of a statue. -tv

Yes, it was much brighter out than I would have liked for this pic. Also, I found without the leaf in foreground, it just looks lame.

Nice image Tom, though I wish it could be a little larger and the face was a little less obstructed. Looks like the light was maybe a challenge here too- might be best shot on an overcast day. Great subject.

At first look I thought this was Indiana Jones like sized. It's good Tom, but maybe cut that leaf off that's blocking his face. -COAmature
