This frame comes close to being the subject. A real esthetic competition and rare opportunity that might have been wasted without careful execution. Visual tension is important to move an image from dull to distinctive, and this is one of the few that does it. The ambiguity of shape and purpose is fascinating. -tv

Nice framing and great sky Brent! I like how the light shows the curvy inside of the sculpture. CJ

Very cool organic looking framing here. Almost like it is shot from inside a Gaudi building. Well exposed too. Hats off!

Excellent, i really like the way the curves in the clouds appear to flow with the curves of the frame. It might be an optical illusion and without the frame you wouldn't sense the cloud action so much

The modern frame contrasts well with the traditional look & feel of the pumphouse Beautiful water colors!

I like it. The free form portal off sets the rather formal scene and sky very well.

Works for me also. Plus I think you found that tunnel vision I was looking for in the last challenge. -COAmature

Thanks Rich, this is looking through a metal sculpture that is maybe 15 feet tall with the opening being about 5 feet in height or so. We ended up having a pretty nice spring day here in Seattle today.
