The face details are no problem for me as her age the ash tray & the knitting tell me lots about this wonderful subject...........Wot a woman:-) Very nicely done Tom, great shot mate:-)

Mary Anne, I did get some "better" shots of Sarah, but the challenge is to tell something about the person. This worked best in that way. I will post another of her in exhibition for you. (I think that's OK rule wise?) TomD.

A nice shot, Tom, under very difficult lighting conditions. However, her face is so shaded by the glaring background that the details are lost. I think a fill flash would have helped. If you're going to be seeing her again, you might want to try shooting with a more flattering light to bring out the warmth in her wonderful dark skin tones. Will we get to see the completed sweater? --Mary Anne
