Very nice to see this image here :)
I really love the original one and I do like this one as well. I think it would've been excellent for this backlighting challenge as is this one, but like the crop more there.

I can really get the feel of a nice leisurely walk. Peaceful!

Nice silhouette, LR. You caught the human legs with one foot up which is good timing. Would be better to see a little more space either before the human or after the dog, creating more space for them to move into or from in the frame. The top foliage if it ran across the whole top or say 3/4 of the top would make for a great frame but, no fault of yours of course. The image is effective with or without the top foliage. Thanks for sharing your great image with us! Markjay

Right on topic. I think the foliage helps "frame" the photo, without going for the whole tree, like Rod did with the bicyclists, which works very well in his image. - Henry

Great shot. Very interesting perspective and composition. After reading RK's comment, I covered the foliage; I wonder which version I would prefer. -gerald

Great find and well executed. Why the bit of foliage at the top? - RK

No special effects - simply shot by exposing for the sky. :) ~ Lonnit

Wonderful shot, Lonnit! It looks like a greeting card, or ... Would you mind explaining your workflow to accomplish this effect? Inquiring minds would like to hear how you did this ";^). Cheers, -mikey

Excellent, I love the ground level view point and the capture tells a tail ;-)
