Thanks RK. I hope my comment didn't come across too harshly. I think you have explained the topic fine. It is a good topic and like many past topics one has to ponder it a little to fully get it- I think? I just looked at what is in eligible at this point and you are right- most are on topic (to me anyway). Maybe not as blatantly so as they could be- but that's okay. I'm keeping pretty busy, but hope to shoot for eligible and expect I might be pushed to come up with something very much on topic myself :-)
Love the colors here and this my kind of picture. I like to go for extreme DOF.
Brent, read your comment...feel that I have not done a good job of explaining the topic. Feel that the majority of the pictures in the eligible gallery are on topic and a few are borderline (just my opinion). I would encourage you to post your interpretation of the topic in eligible.

Thanks much Christina. It took me a while to soak in this topic and hopefully get it right. I think I know what is needed to be on topic, but don't have many images already that do qualify. I have lots of landscapes of isolated locations, but very few subjects that are isolated from their environment- what I think the topic calls for. Sadly, if I have the time to shoot for eligible I fear my efforts will go unnoticed in a gallery of pretty images that are marginally on topic with the way things are shaping up to this point. I hope that feeling changes.
