Lovely Rod! Great background, lighting, and color to isolate the flower. CJ

Thanks Brent:-) A tiny tea cup poodle!!! the bleeding thing was much bigger this dog was a Maltese they're at least 8" high. Because I'm only short I suffered the same trauma as a 6' 6" bloke meeting a Doberman:-)

Without reading the comments I also thought of a bird feeding offspring here too Rod- well done. Glad the tiny teacup poodle at the door didn't take your leg off ;-)

Thanks RK:-) The background was in shade & only the tops of the flowers were in the morning sunlight. I took an exposure on the sky locked it it in then recomposed & clicked. Used the dodge tool on the stems to lighten them a bit.

Good one Rod. How did you manage to eliminate the surrounding (dark bg)?

Thanks all:-) A dog was at the front door of this house barking & telling me to bugger off, but I got a couple of lucky shots:-)

Very interesting shot, it looks like the "Bird" is feeding its offspring! Also great colors and ISOLATION! - Henry
