Thanks, Markjay, for your kind words. No, do not fear, it is not *as* cold here in Patagonia visiting glaciers as it is e.g. in my home-country Switzerland. OTOH, you’re definitely right: I never saw anything like this anywhere in Florida either... ;-) — db.

Brrr. Fascinating structure. I would LOVE to visit but I'd freeze as soon as I'd step out into the air. Here in Florida, we don't get to see structures like this...

Thanks, RK, for commenting! You are definitely right: f4.5 was not necessary at all here, given the light there at the moment of taking the picture; but sometimes many of us use settings you later—sitting at your desk in a warm home—wonder why you did that... ;-)) — db.
