That truly is a tiny shell, Sharon! You did a nice job of capturing the seashell here. Smart putting it on your finger to give us a feel for the actual size of the shell. Maybe next time place the tiny shell on the tip of your finger, with your finger in horizontal position again but, face up! :-)

well done

Okay, Rod and Mary Anne, your comments were right on the nose. I have reduced the sharpening and fixed the dark line. My only excuse is that this is the first image that I have processed in CS2 and I am a bit unsure of myself. I knew what I was doing in PS4 but this is like a totally different program. Thanks for your help! ~Sharon

Nicely done Sharon a great idea, I can see what looks like a darker line of noise around the thumb & snail as though something was done to the background while under the lasso tool or something. Well done anyhow:-)

Thanks, Mary Anne! I will reprocess this and see if I can unsharpen it a bit. ~Sharon

Sharon, the nail and the snail both look oversharpened or something with too much noise. However, the eye in the background is very smooth, so I don't know if noise reduction would make a difference, altho it's worth a try. (I feel like Big Brother is watching me!)
