Nice work, clear with nice colors. Regarding the water line: when I crop it off by scrolling the image in my "window", the scene does not look natural to me. Obviously, others feel differently about that. Think of a swimmer diving into the water and photographing the action of entering the water from the side (if you could). If you crop the image so the waterline and other half of the swimmer body is not seen, you have only half a body and no waterline for the mind to follow the action into the water.... it would look rather awkward and not a natural setting. Same holds true for this image IMO.
Again, nice capture! Markjay
Really neat capture. Interesting the 1/60 was fast enough to get this kind of stop action. Did you use an external flash source for this one or just continous lighting?
I agree with Mary Anne about the water line, that was my first and only nitpick* thought when seeing the shot.
I love the way you've captured the patterns in the water and the bubbles. It's so sharp and clear...looks like a magazine illustration. One niggle...I think I'd crop off the line of water across the top.
