Sharon, I think that I had just forgotten to draw the shades yesterday morning and was looking at it with too much ambient light. Then at night it looked more balanced...

Cool idea! I think that I wish it was a bit brighter, but I can see that you've brought the eye out and that's good. I love your way of getting rid of the nose!
