Thanks, CJ. To darken the sky I have selected the upper part of the sky with lasso tool, took feather 150 and played with brightness/contrast

This looks more like coming nightfall Alex - what did you do to darken the sky and could you post the original in pending so we can see the difference? Thanks CJ

jano, I have darkened the top part of the sky following your suggestions

Many thanks, Brent, Jano, RK and CJ. Jano: I understand your point and I shall try to produce a version with darker sky. This lens allows to keep verticals vertical by shifting the image circle with respect to sensor. This capability I have actually used in this image. It also allows to rotate the focusing plane by tilting the front part of the lens, but I have not tried this capability yet.

Beautiful image Alexeig! It amy not suggest darkness as much as other gallery images, yet it does and is very pleasing to look at as well. I didn't know anything about your new lens, so I checked out a review. Looks like something you will have lots of fun experimenting with and learning to master.

The colors here are awesome! What exactly does this lens do (I'm not too knowledgeable in that area). I do wish the sky was a little darker or more foreboding. I don't get an eerie, foreboding, depressing feel with this shot. It's really pleasing to the eye though. jano

WOW!!! Alex, you have mastered capturing brilliant/subtle colors. Love the converging lines.
See that you have a new toy in the form of tilt and shift. How do you like it?

Beautiful sky Alex and a nice empty street with colorful buildings. That lens looks to be a keeper! CJ

Yes, Cat. This is my Christmas present and this picture was taken during my first outing with this lens. It is pretty tricky to meter but otherwise the shift function works great. I have not tried the tilt yet.

Many thanks for comments. This is sunset which can be seen also from exif. Anyway, I wanted to show the darkness which is in the process of arriving from every corner, nook and cranny. Or, hiding back there.

Nice color. The picture strikes me as a sunrise for some reason. Perhaps waking up from the darkness?

Really like it.

Gday to you too Alexeig:-) Very nice shot mate but I'm not picking up the topic of darkness (not that that matters):-) I know some will say that they know it will be dark soon so therefore it's on topic. Just looking at the picy it could also be light soon, as this might be early morning for all we know ....................................... visually speaking of course:-)
