Nicely composed Rich - I like your take on the topic and the darkness inside the pitcher is well seen. Well done. jano

Thanks Brent, Doug, CJ, and Rod, appreciated. Rich

A very well composed shot Rich. I'm just now finding the time to start going through this gallery. I may feel differently as I see what others come up with, but I expect there will be plenty of good shots like this one where being in a "darknes" gallery makes the viewer see darkness in the image more than they normally would. You defintely have some darkness here though, and a fine image.

Quality image Rich but it says "darkness" about as well as my burnt out bulb. I however like the different translation and get your point.

Nice pitcher and picture - I hope it's Sangria down there! CJ

I know wot you're saying Rich but in Jano's shot she is opening the box which gives us some interest in wot's inside. In my really artiiiiiiistic reflection shot we can see it was done in a dark room. Still who knows, I could be wrong & this is a great shot:-)

Thanks Rod, I should have titled it "look in here" ;-) I hear what your saying but I don't see how darkness in itself can be what attracts ones eyes. If there is any light at all, even a very small amount, it will attract your eye. In Jan's picy of box I see the focal point being the subdued light on fingers rather than the darkness of the box. In your picture of reflective light on the ceiling, all I see is the light on the ceiling, I could get my eyes checked :-)) Rich

I'm not sure Rich, in Jano's shot we were forced into thinking about the inside of the dark box but there's far too much well lit stuff here so me eyes have no interest in wot's in the jug. There's nothing to guide us to make us want to look into there.
