Thanks folks, I'll try to clean it up a bit. Rich

I would agree on cloning out the point of light, it doesn't add to the shot but is somewhat distracting, but wouldn't bump up contrast anymore.

Oh, and I think I would get rid of that point of light too, it is a distraction.

I love this shot. The colors and the silhouettes are terriffic.
*It looks a little noisy on my monitor. Have you tried some noise reduction and adjusting the levels to clean it up and give it more contrast?

Think this shot works quite well for the challenge. Those boaters on the lake there... if they're not sitting in darkness there well they're certainly not sitting in light even though the sky is still somewhat lit up with the beautiful pink glow which is a feature but it's not what my eye sticks to. I tend to wander in the darker bottom half. The shot says more darkness than light so it works for me. Yeah it's the mood alright.
Great shot Rich.

Rod: Never mine about the dot of light, this picture has class in it's simplicity and the mood it envokes.

I don't think the little bright dot will turn this into a light picy but it will turn it into a dead pixel picy:-)
