We in Switzerland put Chocolate Mice on our Christmas Tree ;-)
For this picy I took the last red and green one

No harm was done to the mice (before eating them)

Ha ha, funny writeup. Good job on the WB. Had a similar setup (no mice though) but was ruined by bad WB, will have to shoot it again.
