21 December Christina Conroy

tis the season

Kentucky

I just saw Pete's photo that is so similar to this.
What do you guys think, should I not put this here?
I can move it to exhibition if it is too similar.
I'm not sure what to think about very similar photos.

Very nice Christina but I think I agree about the BHs being a little distracting, not much though! Nice composition too. CJ.

Looks like it could be a Christmas card - love the comp and the bh are, imo, so distant they don't bother me in the least. Lovely Christina! jano

It might be because I haven't had a drink yet but the two bright lights in the red look ok now. I will check it again when I've a had a few stubbies:-)

Thanks guys. I trust you so I'll leave it for now. If someone has a complaint though I'll happily move it.

As for editing comments, I'll try really hard to get to them before the deadline. I'm at my Dad's house and he doesn't have any good photo editing software so this is essentially straight from the camera. If I have time when I get home on the 31st I'll try to touch this up.

Now Pete can see a graphic example of Abs advice:-) The only thing is the two BHs in the red glow (top third) draw me eye a bit. I would either clone them out or use the magic wand to select them & then use the Fill command to fill them wiv the closest colour to the BH.
Overall this has a very nice look & feel to it, well done Christina:-)

I usually try not to submit something too similar, but basically it's a case of "let the voters decide." Oved's correct, though, in saying the the color and mood are completely different from Pete's. I think it's really your call.

I say "Leave it here - it's a different take, different tones, different compo..."
