Thanks Murph. I was trying to mimic effect of the surface of an alien world or the sun, but the G6 offers a very narrow DoF on these close up shots. I thought I wanted the in focus area to be further back, but when I processed the shots I liked this closer in-focus area better.

Neo. Good shot- and I can smell it too, which really adds to the texture.

I had some oranges out also, but had trouble finding a good distance because it offered textures at a couple of levels. Did you have the same trouble?
