Beautiful geometry here. The soft light is very pleasing. I dont find the brighter right side distracting as the left holds much of my interest and then I go round and around the photo. Maybe the hot spot is a little too hot, would've liked to see the front edge on that last piece a little clearer or maybe dodge out the back edge a little so it blends in with the background. I think it may be my monitor also though, so we might be seeing different things. In any case, you should definitely make a series of these :)
Shu...i remember feeling really smooth and soft when I first took/looked at this shot. I am glad I was able to convey the feeling.
Christina...dof and shadows are my favourite things in this shot. took me a couple of tries to set angles for my light to get the effect i was going for.
