Jano, if you are mentioning the "light" thing because of the BH, I think the amount of the light is just about right, Its the shine from the smooth glossy surface that can be imporved by changing the angle of the light. Making it parallel to the nail/finger will remove the shine and BH, as it would not shine anymore.( 90 degrees to the camera instead of 180 degrees as it is now )

Cat, thanks again :-)
Jano, thank you for the comment :-) I also felt that having just one nail would've looked better but for some reason I just couldn't get it right. Oh well, I'm still learning :-)
Oh, and I used my diary cover as the background :-)
Great lighting :) I would prefer to see one nail for a more dramatic effect. This may also need just a little less light. What I love is the sharpness. You did a great job and I also like the background. BTW - this needs a date. jano
Cool! Like the choice of the background also! -Cat

Rod, the magic of being a girl is that your hands do not necessarily reflect the amount of work done around the house - but I'm sure you already know that :-)

We can see from these pristine looking hands & nails that like our other girls into photography that you avoid doing the housework:-)
Nicely shot Kristina the composition works really well, well done:-)
