As I look at this, I wonder what life was like before the disaster. A large window in someone's bedroom that had at one time been bathed in sunlight so innocent that there was never a hint of what was to come............broken walls, as well as broken hearts, for any who lived. In spite of its despair, this is a fine image and one I won't forget. shu
This is truly dilapidated and sad when thinking of all the misery caused by the terrible accident here. We loved Kiev and there are many interesting and lovely places in Ukraine, but this will never be one of them. Was it safe to go there, even 20 years after the nuclear disaster? CJ
