I think you're right about it looking more natural as a horizontal Mary Anne (I almost broke me neck to look at it horizontal) :-) but for some reason the unnatural aspect of it is wot appeals to me with this shot.

RK, have you thought of showing this horizontally? The colors are great, but for some reason the light looks kind of unnatural to me.
