Wonderful capture......
Would have loved to see a portrait of the gentleman.
Do you have one?

I found Cuba to be clean generally. Of course they are 'poor' in economic terms compared to ourselves in the West, there was (is?) a shortage of the most basic things. We were mostly asked for ball point pens. There didn't seem to be much paint for houses but plenty extolling the virtues of the revolution. On the upside people in general were well educated and polite.

I like this one Frank. It seems to tell a story. I'm struck by how clean the streets are even though it's in an apparently poor neighborhood. But then most of Cuba is poor--but proud.

Thanks Brent. Indeed, Cuba evokes very mixed feelings. Wonderful people trapped in a time warp.

This is wonderful Frank. I haven't been to Cuba, but this looks much as it is sometimes depicted in the movies. There is something about these buildings and their colors that makes them beautiful despite the dilapidated condition of their paint. The gentleman looks as though he has weathered quite a few years too.
