Thanks everyone, for your kind comments. I went out a few weeks ago to take pictures of the fall foliage on the water- you can tell I have a thing for the effect- and I noticed that the closer you can get to a swirl, the more abstract it became. I switched to my macro and ended up with these. I really like the look. It didn't require any post processing. Just find the right angle, get in close, and hang on tight. Agree with Paul, this reminds me of liquid glass. Perhaps it is a shape shifter, ready to form into an object....sorry too much t.v. LOL Yvonne
