Thanks Christina for the suggestion. I always appreciate input that can help make my images better. I did try a crop as you suggested, but found myself missing the color of the ground. It's a tough call, but I like it "as is" slightly better :-)
PS- I did do some cropping based on feedback from CJ and Rod (thanks guys) since my initial post of this image.
I think that a crop would be good as well. Crop just above the hills and you get three V's of the poles as well as three insulators on each. It makes it more abstract, a totally different photo, but pretty cool looking none the less. Just a thought. I do like it as is.

Yes it's a nice looking shot & I thought the crop was a little bit long too. I luv the look of the sky. Nice one Brent & slow down mate:-)
If I look at this in "medium" size and can see the whole picture at once, the composition does look good as is and you can easily see the sets of insulators. I just lost the look of the picture as a whole when scrolling up and down to view it. So, it doesn't need the crop afterall. The picture really gives the feel of the vastness of the desert and how you can see for miles. Nice one Brent! :-) CJ

This isn't the exact shot I wanted of these poles CJ, but my shooting was not the priority in a car full of people traveling. I'm glad you see what I saw as being the dominant three. Not sure I want to lose the brush with a crop, but will play with things when (if) I can make some time during the challenge. Thanks!
Brent, when I opened this up, the bottom polls were cut off and I kinda liked the look, especially for this challenge, as it brought more attention to the 3 sets of insulators on the pole. What do you think? Love the sky too! CJ
