The sense of scale makes this image Sharon :) The children playing or running adds interest to what might be an otherwise "pattern" type of photo... You were also lucky to have caught girls in outfits that pleasantly compliment the image lol. Sometimes the best images are when you least expect :) jano
Thanks, Mary Anne, b.c. and Henry! As for breaking the rules, sometimes accidents make the most interesting images. I was up against a column on my right hand side and couldn't shoot any more to the right or they would have been running into the shot instead of out of it. Nonetheless, I think it works pretty well. ~Sharon

great composition Sharon. really strong repeating lines leading our eyes down and also across. I guess there's one of those "rules" that says people shouldn't be leaving the photo, but the placement and direction of the kids here really adds positively to the drama of the shot. - b.c.
