might just be me, but it looks a bit unnaturally sharp on just a few of the left edges a couple links. OTOH, it might just be because there's such high contrast anyhow with the red, combined with nothing of the red in focus... I wouldn't worry about it - b.c.

nice photo to lead off the Exhibition gallery, Rod. I too like the bright colour and the simple line of the chain links leading you upwards. the upper few links fully visible seem to be a little overly sharpened on their left edges to my liking - not sure if that's intentional or just an artifact of resizing/etc. - b.c.
This is really colorful Rod - it almost looks like a girl's shot! I like the color contrast and the shallow DOF focusing only on the chain. Good composition with the chain leading the eye around the image from the brighter part of the chain then up to the valve. Nice one! CJ
