I can't add much to what has already been said other than it's a fantastic image! Really great photo for this challenge.

Amazing shot, at first I thought it was somebody dangling on chains in a circular tunnel/hole... I bought myself an Ultrapod II but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I oruginally looked for one on eBay and had my query 'helpfully' 'corrected' to Ultravox!!!

I cannot add anything here...so will just enjoy the shot and say "thanks for sharing" to you :) -Abstract

thanks everyone, your comments are greatly appreciated.
CJ - the Ultrapod II should support a small SLR depending on which lens (spec is 4lb load). This photographer http:/www.photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/tripods.html claims to use it with her EOS-3, however I don't use it with my 20D. but it's perfect for a P&S like A620 or even larger.
BTW this shot wasn't really premeditated - instead I had my camera and ultrapod in my pack while out cycling (as I usually do), and we stopped for a break at the playground. then the lightbulb went on when I thought of the challenge :) ... meanwhile I'm _still_ struggling to think of a 2nd and 3rd shot!

This is terrific b.c.! Love the composition and colors in this and it's sharp too! I may have to break down and buy an Ultrapod - will they support a DSLR? CJ

Excellent looking down and motion makes me dizzy.

This is just great. I love the light around the person on the swing. Ann

thanks everyone!
an assignment - oh no!! I'm having a tough enough time thinking of a 2nd or 3rd shot. I may give it a try, but it might be difficult. lots of things already conspiring against me to get the shot as it was... aside from my daughter being a bit shy - and dizzy! - there were lots of wasps hanging around the swings, and I had to wait quite a while for the low afternoon light to look just right through the dense trees above. but the suggestion is well noted, thanks - b.c.

Great shot, b.c., but now you know you have an assignment--do it again with the girl looking up!

Ecellent image b.c. The motion and perspective are all great and I really like the warm color too- makes me think of summer ale ;-)

I have to agree with everyone's comments and just say WOW! Only nitpick is I wish the girl was looking up. Love the light. jano

This is definitely looking down mate & a fantastic shot. Well done:-)

Hi Sharon - awww, you mean the topic isn't "Blur"?... or "Shoes"? :-)
Well, at least I hope it's clear this shot is looking down!! (what do you think, Rod & Jano??)
Re: technique - yes, the camera was attached to the top of one of the chains, using.... (bet you'll never guess)... my trusty Ultrapod II. I used the swivel LCD to compose the shot from below, triggered the shutter with a 5sec self timer delay, then spun the tire and got out of the field of view. Oh, and did I say the camera was pointed down? :-)
Thanks very much for your comments! - b.c.

Wow! b.c. the blur challenge was two challenges ago, you can't win it now! This is really wonderful and right on topic. Light, texture, composition, everything works in this shot. I am assuming that you attached the camera to the chins somehow, would you tell us how you did this? Really good work! ~Sharon
