Wordwright

Word Bridge

What words are best in common speech
to tell of one's devotion?
What phrase is there within one's reach
to bridge the widest ocean?

This query plunged me deep in thought
and answer did demand.
At first it seemed that I was caught,
Then came, "I understand."

Don't listen to my good mate Rod. Little flaws makes perfect ;)

Thanks, Rod. When I look at the thumbnail, I'm aware of the bright shirt and thought that perhaps the face needed a few more highlights to balance the image. My PS skills have not reached that level of expertise and I fear I'll ruin the image if I tamper too much. I showed Ed your comment this morning and he got a good laugh out of your "toilet wall ones." Did you write them? LOL shu

Lovely shot Shu, you have caught Ed looking quite natural. I would like to see the bright part of the shirt toned down a bit so the face is where the eyes go & stay.
Tell him the poem is very good too, I will have to post some of me toilet wall ones:-)

Beautiful tones and light in this Shu. A fantastic shot; well done!

David.

This is the best portrait I've seen in recent memory. Classic, very classic.

Let's not go there, I'm torn right now :)

Ed is a handsome man, and lucky to have you as a wife I'm sure.

How nice, aam! Ed would be flattered, too. BTW, what is your real name? (It's ok if you don't care to give it out.) shu

Like it so much that I have to comment on it again. This is a classic and timeless portrait. You should print it (large) and hang it in the wall of your house Shu.

Btw, why is it in exhibition not eligible, did you submit three pics there already. Just curious.
