Maybe DOF isn't the foremost thing that comes to mind for me when viewing this image, but I can see it and there is no denying the overall elegance of the image . Works for me- well done Shu.

Thanks, Sharon. That's exactly what I intended when setting up this still life. The proper arrangement of the flowers is critical to the overall appeal of this image, IMO. Thanks for noticing!

Jano--it may be, but I don't think it has a bad effect on the pic. Thanks for your nice omment!

Rod--The only things in focus are parts of the two flower heads and everything else is somewhat blurred which I believe gives the image that dreamy effect. I'm not sure the effect is dramatic enough to qualify for this challenge, but I'll leave it in anyway. Thanks for your valuable critiques and comments!

Very nice, shu! I like how the dark flower is in front of the light and the lighter flower is in front of the darker area. Good work! ~Sharon

Simply dreamy and so soft. I'm not sure if the right corner of the table is a bh or not? But that's just a nit pic. Love the blue tone to the vase. jano

Wot a lovely looking shot from our sweet one, it's beatiful init. Shooting wide open to get a DOF effect which I can't pick up in the shot, but its so soothing who cares:-)
Well done Shu.
