Great find and great angle too. Hope you didn't have a stiff neck for long! -Cat

I like it Paul. An advantage the G6 must have had for shooting up like this is the swiveling LCD viewer. Now that I'm mostly using the DSLR I sometimes miss the easy angled shots I could pull off with the G6.

What a neat perspective on things! nice color tones too.

Did you get a sore neck? Cos you must have been there looking up for ages until you got a lucky shot.
Paul 28-May-2006 06:29
Thanks all. Yes Rod this is indeed a telegraph pole and i'm viewing it from underneath looking directly up.

RK, i'll give the cloning a try as i don't want that different coloured and shaped bit there either but when taking the photo no matter how i tried i couldn't get the angle i wanted without that bit in that i think covers a lightning rod or something.

Excellent...would suggest cloning out the non-green wood surface upper left corner (facing the picture).

Ah, is this a telegraph pole Paul?
Rod 28-May-2006 01:15
This looks really good Paul it looks like side lighting bringing out the textures in the wood but the shadows say the sun was more overhead which is strange for 8am.
I really like this one mate:-)
