Much better Ric! Really like the composition now, she is acting like a frame for the main subject. And what a beautiful frame :)

Rod, it's good to have a challenge setter who plays such an active role! I have removed the other picture as you suggested. Now don't go soft, fill that pending gallery with all those other wildly off topic pictures... ;oD

This is much better Ric as the brightness now makes sense because we can see the lamp. The lamp is throwing a really nice outline on the girl’s face which homes us in on her concentration.
Get rid of the other shot as having two very similar shots dilutes the impact of this shot. I really think this is a top shot, well done mate:-)
