Thank you ladies.

A tipple is a drink but it's more what your maiden aunt would drink rather than someone intending to get blathered on beer.

For example..
On xmas day.

"What's your tipple Aunty Glad?"

"Oooh, as it's xmas i'll be daring and have a sweet sherry...only a small one mind, it does go to my head"

Not sure what "Tipple" means since I'm just a silly, blonde American woman, but I knew this one was yours. I may have to go out and buy some Fosters so I can compete with your shots, Paul. Or just drink them all and giggle at your titles. :)
