This image looks like something out of an old western!

Very dramatic * I would prefer a tad less darker blues

This shot does indeed look like it is straight out of a movie. (a scarey movie) Yvonne

very sinister looking shot. the blue cast on bw helps a lot to the mood and nature of the photo. well done. -Abstract

Have udated the image as suggested, by darkening the foreground and adding back in some detail. I agree it looks better - thank s!

Yes, it's an "outhouse" in the middle of a vineyard in the Beaujolais region in France. It looked so incongruous sitting there completely overshadowed by the huge ancient vine. I think it looks like some kind of Tardis which, if you went inside, would disappear in a hole in the ground and pop you up in a different time continuum !

what a great image.... even if its a pretty sh*tty subject.....:) Ok pardon the attempted humor!

Another great title Rose, and I really like the image too. With the mood you have created it makes me think of an outhouse on some inhospitable planet. Is this adjacent to a vineyard?

Great image, Rose - love it - the texture of the tree and the wood - wonderful contrast. However, the lower part, the ground, looks rather washed out. Can you put more detail there? A little less contrast there maybe? Some detail there would g reatly improve the image.
