I think the border works well here - I would probably make the purse/box the center of attention and put the shoes in the background for some contrast - or what CJ said :) Great image. jano

RK are these your shoes? As I don't like calling girls mate. Mind you if you're a bloke & these are your shoes I will still call you mate, mate:-)
Thanks Rod, CJ and Alex.
CJ - totally agree with you. Posted this on an impulse. Will try and re-shoot this or replace it.
Rod - Love your in-your-face comment "The border looks a bit quaint mate"...thats what I like about this (CTFChallenge) challenge. You know what...you are absolutely right...added the quaint border...thinking that it will add more interestingness to the picture.

I've looked at this a few times and while the DOF is great and the contrast is great, this looks as though the subject is the shoes. Now if you could take a shot with that terrific red box/purse as the subject, even on the red carpet, I think that would make an interesting pic.! :-) CJ

The border looks a bit quaint mate, if you did it to make it look like a product shot then you will need to make the shoes stand out more as the carpet is the centre of attention. ........................................Mind you it could be a carpet product shot:-)
