This grabs me like only another couple have. It has a sinister feel to it and the red feels more prominent with just a splash rather than a whole photo of it. Very good. Great sense of depth to the image too.

You know, the brightness of the background almost works for me. It definitely brings the focus to the trailblaze. I think the bark looks kinda bluish though and could use warming up. Also the person in the picture kinda distracts me.
Can't wait till hiking season arrives here in New Hampshire!
