Very cool shot Julian. I saw the original post with the low-res and thought something must have gone horribly wrong. This looks great now.

Don't panic Anne, working with RAW images is not difficult. RAW just gives you more control over your image than JPG does. You'll have to convert RAW files into Photoshop or JPG format anyway to edit them so you'll be working with the same kind of images the way you do now.

Mary Anne, dont worry too much :) RAW has it's benifits but,
Julian mentioned he first posted the low res JPG. There is usually an option...
You can shoot, Raw+Highres Jpg or Raw+lowres Jpg.

Just one note, Julian. If you can please resize/resample it , the currenty file size sits at 358,891 bytes.

MUCH better Julian! Great shot! CJ

Yes, much better now, Julian. After commenting on this one, I've been noticing artifacts on some of my shots. I hope that doesn't mean I have to learn to work in RAW!!

Sorry guys - I just uploaded the wrong file. I shot RAW+a low res JPG image together. I played a bit with the low res image before working with the RAW file and then by mistake uploaded the low res file instead of the good one. This one should be OK.

no (*) but I agree with the rest of the folks. a little clean up and this one would pack a punch. Since it's an all blue BK, the Blur tool can be used to clean up those artifacts.

I think this is fabulous and pretty sure I can tell you were behind a window of some sort. In a car maybe? I don't know if you can recapture this but it has the possibility of being fantastic!

I like the color and composition, Julian, but there are annoying artifacts all around the outlines of the structure. I suspect you had to do a great deal of cropping and sharpening, and the solid blue background doesn't help in post-processing.

I like this Julian however, I don't know if it's my monitor or my eyes, but it looks a little OOF to me. Otherwise it is a nice composition, has great color and great perspective. :-) CJ
