Brent, that is too funny and thanks for the compliment! I guess great minds think alike! LOL I've been impressed with all the wonderful ideas everyone has come up with to interpret this topic. I wish I had more to offer but I haven't gotten out much lately to take pictures. Maybe next challenge :-) Rod, Either name is fine with me but I go by CJ in the forums and on my gallery. Just don't call me "Ca-roll-ee" like old Father Nolan did - in 8 years, he never got my name right :-)

This was really wierd CJ. I was out to dinner with some friends and inquired whether anyone had an old type writer I could use for this challenge. I came home from dinner and there was your freshly posted image very similar to what I had in mind. I'm not sure I could have pulled it off as well as you have here- good job.

Thanks Jano and Mary Anne! I'm not sure why, but we acquired this old Royal when my husband's office was revamped many years ago. I guess it was just waiting around for this challenge! :-) CJ

What a wonderful image for this topic CJ and the title is perfect. You don't see these typewriters around and your lucky to have one if just for this challenge! Nicely exposed and I really like the DOF. Just great. jano

CJ, this is really wonderful! I am very taken with it! The light and the exposure is perfect and the depth of field is just right as well. The ampersand is one of the most beautiful typographical elements and having it right in front like this is perfect. I hope your typewriter will be okay! Excellent work! ~Sharon
