No no no Rod, no Velvia action og dodge/burn here. But about the weather you are correct, it was a pretty dull day
Rod 11-Feb-2006 18:54
Forgot also the Brightness & Contrast tool (minus brightness & plus contrast) gives the shot a lot of pop. But the nicest way for saturating shots is to shoot in overcast weather, which it looks like Alex has done here.

There's lots of ways to increase saturation in Photoshop so there's no mystery to vibrant colours Cat. A Velvia action will do a global saturation or the Hue & Saturation tool. On the floating menu where the dodge & burn tools are is a saturation tool for selective tarting up.

Alex, -ditto- what RK says. What do you do?!? Surely there is no sky here to give a special color. It must be your pp! -cat

Alex, you are very good at bringing out the colors. This is very good. - RK

Reminds me of cartoonland right outside the window. Great conception! jano

Great image! Love the composition and color.
Rod 09-Feb-2006 08:34
This does work really well, who would think that with all this colour my eyes are drawn to the lamp in the window which is the focal point for me. Great shot mate.
