Did you put the highlight stars in Cats? I really like the new shot but I find the stars are a bit glitzy.

Photocat, if you can please resize/resample this one. It sits at 160,574 bytes
Thanks,

wow what a difference, glad you went back there. Looks to me as it was really worth it. The clarity of the drop and sparkle with the clean bk... excellent shot Photocat.

Guys, I reshot it again. I can't believe the bud has grown so much in a week!! I also got different drops this time, I chose a slightly different angle this time to remove all branches from the background. I am happy with what I got today. Sometimes reshoot helps. And yes, I used RK's pointers today. Thanks RK! -Cat

Thanks RK, Jano and Alex!
RK this has a very shallow DoF (just the drop) I had to overexpose the drop a little for it to glow and get the sparkle. Also this is a crop from a bigger comp. I couldn't approach nearer and did not have access to a macro. But I will keep your suggestions in mind.
Jano and Alex: I will try to improve the background, may be clone out the out-of-focus drops.

Simple and beautiful and would have been even better after the crop of the top part.

The thumbnail really catches my eye. The background, however, distracts from the perfect raindrop. jano

Love the background and the sparkle. Find the main subject to be a tad soft (or out of focus) and the water drop blown out. If you had nailed the focus and the exposure on the water drop...this would be an awesome entry.
