Jim, Aruba must have been a nice break from Minnesota at this time of year. Gorgeous scenery you've captured in your entries. I'm glad to see that you took advantage of that lovely glow of the early morning light.

Thanks for the comments. I was just visiting Aruba on holiday from Minnesota. The winds seem to blow steadily @15-25 miles/hr all day long out of the east. I saw a few trees like this one, but none with the rocks and complex root structure seen here.
