Thanks everyone for the comments! I did a channel mix layer, then a warming filter, a layer of black and white overlay brushes. My final treatment was a brown tonal overlay "painting" to bring out what my final goal was, which was a 3 dimensional feel - like the way I felt when I stood there - very slight USM. I do like the color version, but wanted to try this. Rod - I couldn't do anything about the cloud formation - i don't have that power yet ....:) jano

Cor this does look good dunit. With a different cloud formation it would have been spot on. Great work Jano.

That is much better. :-) I did notice the tree in the foreground being vertical! Good Job! :-)

Wow, this is almost three-dimensional, Jano. How did you get the deep tone in the sky? Did you do some dodging on the pine tree in the foreground? Finally, how do you like this version compared to the color one? Am I asking too many questions?

Jano, I love the sky in this one, maybe I need lessons in PS from you! Yvonne

Thanks Armin and James :) James, this always did look a little strange to me; however, you notice the tree in the foreground is straight...so I figured it was just the curve of the lake. So what I did was use the transform tool to bring the lake's horizon more in proportion of appearing "level". I hope this improved it somewhat? jano

Stunning Jano! but maybe check your horizon it looks a bit off to me.
