Thanks for all the comments. I agree with Alexei that some object in the foreground would help the photo. I tried to play with dark and light tones and I think it's better now though I'm not sure if you'll be able to see the difference. Thanks to Rod for defending my flawless composition :) Tomas

This is my favourite of your three pictures, probably due to the strong verticals and shadows. * some object on the foreground would provide more focus to this picture

This is great one and has a nice wintery feel to it -Cat

This looks like Nebraska to me. Very typical of our winter scenes.

I like it- great title too.

I like the comp the way it is, we have to be careful of not having the rules of photography uppermost in our minds as it will make our shots all look very similar.
The shadows here take us into the shot nicely with the tree line being quite sparse our eyes can still travel through. I think the straight line of trees gives this shot the tension needed to separate it from rule driven shots.

This might have been better shot from another angle. Like left/right on to the trees with the shadows on the right or left. I think that may make it a stronger image. Lovely b&w nonetheless. jano

Great compo, excellent lighting. The snow tone is ok for me.

Really like the composition...the tree line and the shadow/light play is great. But, I find the picture to be flat and lacking punch. Maybe, the experts in PS could offer some advice to add punch.

Very nice Tomas, I agree with Rod a bit lighter on the snow would improve it.

Not only does it look like a parade it also looks like a really good picy, a very nice B&W. The only thing I would try to see if it improves it, is to lighten the foreground snow a little bit. Great shot Tomas.
