I loved it in CSLR challenge and love it still

This is a great shot! Talk about "leading the eye" - if this shot doesn't demonstrate it, then nothing does. Great lighting, cropping and composition :-) CJ

The vanishing point is as good as mine Lee. Aahahahha!! Just kidding...I like this one dear. :)

Very moody and well done Lee.

Lee, really great crop and I agree, the yellow line leading the way makes the shot. Yvonne

Rod, you will make me cry... :-(

Very good Lee, The yellow lines draw the eye right into the picture and the graininess really helps to add to the feel of this. :-)

Superb compo, the yellow lines make it for me!

Thanks again Rod. The iso was 400.

I set my cropping tool on 1x1 and started at the lower left and went up till I hit the top. Just a hair was taken off the left to get the yellow stripe to be dead in the corner. There are shrubs on the right side that I wanted to remove and also wanted to place the vanishing point at the right third of the image.

I hope this helps.

It does look good Lee, what iso did you shoot at & how small was this crop from the original?
ctfchallenge22-Jan-2006 04:29
thanks all.

Rod, no noise added. its all natural.

This is nice I think the yellow lines really helps the shot. Did you add noise or grain just along the tree lines as I can't see any in the sky. It's very effective done like this. Well done Lee.

Lee, excellent execution...talk about vanishing point.

Looking at this image this morning and thought wow! This is really great as my eye follows the yellow lines to the top of the hill where the road goes out of sight into the fog. I will never find yellow lines like this, as the snow, sand, and salt reak havoc on our road system. jano

Very nice foggy shot, Lee. I like the lines of the road, and I think in this case the double yellow line down the middle adds to the shot.
