Learn to like the rain (*)

Looking our the window

It's been raining here... for a long long time. They thought we had a record of 26 consecutive days but just discovered that it only rained a trace on January 4th. But it did rain all 25 days besides that date... sheesh! I've lived here over 15 years and I still get bummed by the dark rainy days when there are too many of them in a row. I gotta learn to like the rain like my husband does.

The only times I've seen someone happy getting wet in the rain were in the movies :) Usually wet in the rain is cold and miserable... A nice picture thriu the window can say "hey, the rain makes a pretty scene and that makes my heart rejoice" . and it is pretty. /Oved

i like this shot although i remember seeing something along the same lines (from you) in another 'through the glass' (?) challenge too. this image would convey the message better if you, or any human, were actually out in the rain and enjoying. -Abstract

Nice picture Ann, I'm feeling the same way down the road from you in Seattle- enough rain already!

This is so pretty with the screen as an added benefit as it looks likea painting or that the photo is texurized. I might have cloned out the bottom left blue and white objects, if possible. A rainy day is great for making bread, cookies, or beef bisket. :) Of course, by now you probably have your freezer stocked ?? jano

We would luv some of that rain down here as we sometimes get fed up with another blue sky:-) Plus we have scarce water resources too.The background really blends in well with this shot, well done Ann.
